Movember, the month formerly known as November, is when brave & selfless men around the world grow a moustache. We all step up to support them, all to raise awareness and funds for men's health - specifically prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health.

Movember is committed to raising awareness and funding for men’s health issues. On Movember Foundation's website, it is very clear: “Our fathers, partners, brothers and friends face a health crisis that isn’t being talked about. Men are dying too young. We can’t afford to stay silent.”

The pictures below show some impressive efforts by staff, students got involved by challenging staff members to a charity football match held at Archbishop’s Park. Despite an admirable performance from the staff team, it was the students who came out victorious with a 5 – 1 win.

Moreover, further rivalry came during a sponsored ‘Mastermind’ style quiz where teams of students battled it out against teams of teachers, with the Languages Department emerging victorious.

The college have raised more than £700 for the charity as well as raising the awareness of their college community.

Well done to everyone and thank you to the Head of Co-Curricular, Sean for organising all the events.
